Its a shame that congress fully funds Border Patrol Agents salary and auo. But yet CBP refuses to pay their auo. They have made it known they will decertify Border Patrol Agents auo. This contradicts what congress mandated. It appears the upper management in CBP believes they are above what Congress mandated them to do. Which is to pay Border Patrol Agents salary and auo. CBP was given an extra 315 million dollars to do so. There is no Honor in what CBP is doing to Border Patrol Agents. I guess " Honor First " is out the window for Border Patrol Agents.

This is shameful. Why are Border Patrol Agents expected to take such a "punch in the gut" on this when other agencies are not?? These men and women have a dangerous job and work in sometimes very harsh conditions. This will be devestating to so many young families, not to mention weakening our National Security. Can you imagine getting your pay check and having it be 40% less? Could you met your financial obligations? I couldn't

I'd would like for someone that could actually do something about it, to put the people that is pushing this, just one day in the trail we walk every single day.

Living in a border state, I see first hand how many dangerous people cross the borders. If our borders are not well guarded it means anyone can come across including terrorists. We need our borders guarded and those who do this job risked their lives every day and deserve to be paid better. This is a horrible decision. Do not cut their pay!!! Do not reduce, but instead increase border patrol agents. This is homeland security. Get rid of your stupid drones and do something that will really protect American citizens. Your drones will more than make up this budget deficit. It's a question of priorities
