Border Patrol Agents are essential to law enforcement operations near and along the border. Cutting their pay as they put their lives on the line everyday is a huge slap in the face!REPORT COMMENTS

Sign on for one of the most dangerous law enforcement careers in the nation... Only to be: blocked from performing our duties by our own administration, despised by pro-illegal immigration activists/aliens, and vilified in the media at every turn... Now we face a 30% that cut in pay that also impacts our retirement plans... Seriously, what is not to love about this outfit?REPORT COMMENTS

Stop going after the men & women who protect us everyday. We need these agents on the front lines to protect us. Not worrying about having their pay cut or worse being furloughed. Find your funds somewhere else and let these agents do their jobs.REPORT COMMENTS

it is unconscionable that the government would cut the pay of these brave people who serve us and defend our country's borders! Not only is the pay cut outrageous, but the consequences of this action would have snowballing negative repercussions. This action would further endanger our citezens by allowing illegal criminals and other people & children to spread destruction and disease to us. I am in favor of people following our laws to become American citizens but NOT in favor of people who basically, "give us the middle finger" to circumvent our rules. And by the way, that is what our government is doing to these hard-working agents and the American people, as well. At a time when most American families are struggling to make ends meet, cutting the pay of anyone at any job is indefensible. Why don't we cut the pay & benefits of members of Congress & the President instead? They should help shoulder the financial burden of what it takes to run our country! Other countries don't allow illegal people to break their laws--they send them back to where they came. Let's speak the truth. These are not "undocumented workers", they are ILLEGAL people. Once a country loses the rule of law, it is only a matter of time before the civilization falls. What a sad state of affairs for our country. May God have mercy on us because our government surely doesn't.REPORT COMMENTS

If federal agents who put their lives on the line for this nation get their pay cut, then so does everyone in Washington D.C.!REPORT COMMENTS

Our borders need to be protected not left vulnerable. Not paying or not encouraging them to catch loads because it's close to closing time is absurd. They should not have to be left finishing a job for free. Our agents are a very important line of defense against terrorist....we can not do this to our agents and make it easier for the terrorist to get to us.REPORT COMMENTS

Our Border Patrol Agents put their lives on the line every day they report for duty protecting and defending our borders from foreign invasion. "THEY" are doing their jobs unlike those in Washington, DC which are to be representing we the people albeit actions by those in DC reflect the rule of law is only applicable to citizens not illegal invaders. If anyone's pay should be cut it is the salary and benefits of those in DC for NOT doing their jobs to uphold the laws "they have passed" like the Immigration and Nationality Act, all our immigration laws.REPORT COMMENTS
