Demand Assault Weapons Be Banned
Another mass killing in our nation today. More tears and "heartfelt" condolences from our leaders. This is not about the Second Amendment, this is about the wealth and enormous influence that the NRA has over our elected officials. Assault weapons are not kept under the bed to protect from intruders or to hunt deer; assault weapons are used to hunt human beings. Let's take back "The People's House" and demand common sense gun laws, beginning with the re-instatement of the assault weapon ban that was lifted in 2004.
