People need to understand that by eliminating overtime for Border Patrol Agents, there will be a two hour period between shifts where the border will not be guarded at all. Believe me, the smugglers are already gearing up. Prepare for the flood gates to open!REPORT COMMENTS

Tell them to move to a border city and see and hear all about the cartel. Then they would know that we need the Border Patrol to protect us.REPORT COMMENTS

As an employee of a PD and a viewer of "Border Wars" I will not support pays cuts involving national security. These men and women are risking their lives everyday for our protection- they deserve our respect and every dime they earn!REPORT COMMENTS

Shame on you for not knowing why our brave me and women guard our borders. I live on the Mexican border with cartel murdering people everyday. We need the Homeland and Border Patrol to keep the peace on this side of the border. Those people have families to feed too so please do not cut their pay.REPORT COMMENTS

If there was enough money for congressional pay raises there is enough for our border agents. What is wrong with you people don't you know the first rule of leadership is to feed the soldiers first, the generals get what's left over.REPORT COMMENTS

I would love to see all of these pencil pushers that brown nosed their way up to where they are now and who have no idea of what it takes, to do the job of a Border Patrol Agent that works checkpoint, highway interdiction and brush. Put their boots on and do their job! Lets see if after actually doing what they do, they still think they are overpaid. And if they claim they did do it when they were younger, they are liers!!! This is also a whole a new ball game. It's not only about taking their 25%, it's a matter of national security!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Janet Napolitano begged Congress to keep what was requested in the budget "We need this money for our agents." Great Bait and Switch! Congress passed it, Obama signed it so why aren't the agents getting what they have EARNED! After almost eighteen years of service with the Border Patrol, our family has to find a second job, and cut out all extras, just to keep the house. My husband has proudly served as an agent putting his life on the line here and in the military overseas keeping this country safe. He has earned his position and his pay. How is cutting out all extras, emergency item shopping only, not eating out, etc. good for the economy? The domino chain reaction is coming! This has not only hurt the very agents and their families who have sacrificed and labored for this country but businesses in each area will feel the impact of your decision. My parents retired and moved to live with us and now we may loose our "Walton home"!! Help us petition them to give back the Administrative Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO) and drop the furlough!! Even the bank considered it part of our pay when we refinanced the house. Please don't let them rob those who have proudly served this country of over 30 percent of pay by taking our AUO. I don't want to be "acceptable collateral damage". Where's MY American dream!! We are begging for help to petition them to reverse the decision regarding the AUO and furlough!!REPORT COMMENTS

This is an injustice and it is setting this country back instead of propelling us forward. Now the borders will not be protected like they should and leaving the borders open.REPORT COMMENTS
