I don't understand how alcohol is legal and kills people on a daily basis but marijuana is illegal and has never caused harmed to anyone! It only has beneficial side effects. Makes no sense to me.REPORT COMMENTS

Tobacco, alcohol, prescription drugs, and even WATER are possible to overdose on... Marijuana is not. I believe it should be 100% legalREPORT COMMENTS

Laboratory and medical studies prove that marijuana provides substantial relief from the horrible agony associated with neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis and Lou Gehrig's (ALS). Many well-respected studies demonstrate this drug even slows the degeneration of the peripheral nerves, providing not only a better quality of life, but also a greater quantity of life. As one afflicted with a genetic disorder that causes unstoppable, progressive nerve damage, I am considering moving from my beloved home to a more enlightened locale where I could obtain relief without breaking any laws. I would rather live in a single room with far less pain than suffer miserably and die more rapidly here in KY. Clearly, the big-money distillery lobby has more influence over our lawmakers than science, common sense, or the collective will of the public. If I can survive the move and find a qualified doctor, I will move just to stay alive. If more relatives of our legislators were seriously ill, KY would be issuing medical registry IDs already. Stop letting Brown-Forman ruin my life and the lives of thousands of other law-abiding citizens!REPORT COMMENTS

Hello i saw a website wanting people to write about legalizing marijuana. i think they should i wrecked a crotch rocket back in 2004, a car pulled out in front of me and i got hurt bad. i died 3 times in the helicopter. i had many surgeries and many pints of blood. i lost my right arm right above the elbow to a blood clot it was broke above the elbow i have rods and pins in it. they never smoothed the bone so it is jagged and my right arm is paralyzed. i went under the guard rail and hit the post with my shoulder. it is called a brachial plexus. i can't move or feel my left arm. my left fingers amputated because of clots. they had to take veins from my right leg to put in the arms. my left ankle is shattered. i have a plates and screws in my left ankle and leg. my knee it destroyed i have had 2 surgeries on it because i have a pocket of staff that busted. i still have a bone spur on the back of my knee. i have bout died a few times in the past 3 years or so 1 because a blood clot. 1 my gall bladder it caused my to become septic means my blood was infected. while i was in the hospital something happened to my leg it jumped up and popped. i couldn't move it for 7-8 months this was in jan. 2012. i can move it now but it hurts very bad. i am telling you this because a friend said marijuana helped his pain he wrecked a truck. well i tried it and it really did help i have been on oxycontin, morphine, dilaudid, percocet 10, roxycodone, and many many more. and when i smoked that helped more than anything. i don't want to get in trouble though so i don't know what to do. can you keep me informed on the law and do you have any info that i can read or something.REPORT COMMENTS
