It's ludicrous what they are putting these poor agents and their families through. My daughter is a wife of an agent in Tucson, Az. She called last night crying to tell me they cant travel home thus summet due to pay cuts. She said that her husband...my son in law worked very long hours last pay period. She said her husband had hardly any sleep last week as he worked very long nights into the wee hours of the morning chasing drug smugglers through their deserts. He worked these hours chasing these illegals knowing he would be compensated for them. Well...then one week before the pay period ended (after hed already worked OT) he was informed by his watch commander that FSLA (which is what agents get if they work OT) would not be paid out on his upcoming check. So basically my son in law works for free? Tell me and my daughters family how this is legal?????? Pay the agents and pay them what they deserve!!! Im sickened by this. Our country is headed in the wrong direction.

My Son and law is a Border Patrol Agent and he puts his life on the line everyday and I find it outrageous for our government to make such deep cuts to the men and women who protect our borders! Tell Congress to take a cut in pay and take no more then 2 weeks of vacation and see how they like it! Period!!

Agents risk their lives every day. If these men and women need to take a 30% pay cut, then congress should be doing the same thing. Unacceptable!
