I completely agree with the fact that it is not a very fair deal to have to be on narcotics for the pain that people have,, knowing that you can be better alliviated with medicinal mariguana that does'nt cause all the crazy side effects that pills cause..or meds that i have to take for my intestial problems and severe depression and anxiety disorder,, plus a.d.d. ....I have bone spurs and bulging disks in my back and trust me i would rather try to use the help of something natural than all there other pills that are used to treat my problems so yes ,,, i'm in....PLEASE try to get this taken care of A.S.A.P....so that i won't have to move out of this state that i have lived in for 15 yrs.....I love living in Kentucky and I don't want to relocate any time soon....Nov 22nd, 2011Someone from Warsaw, KY writes:
I feel it is completely crazy that marijuana is illegal but alcohol is, people kill people all the time while under the influence of alcohol but ive never heard of someone using marijuana doing so. people that say it promotes violence like i.e drug cartels the only reason it is so profitable for them is cause its illegal over here. we spend billions on trying to stop illegal marijuana every year when i really feel we could make trillions if we legalized itREPORT COMMENTS

I am a resident of kentucky and i would like to say that the marijuana prohibition is a joke. Kentucky needs to wake up and realize how many ill residents need the treatment. Make Marijuana legal in Kentucky.REPORT COMMENTS

Go Kentucky! Bring back American hemp production, and bring back American values. We all suffer from some pain, or disorder, and should be able to choose options which provide, or aid in the relief of such.REPORT COMMENTS

please.... we need medical and industrial marijuana to be legal.A country that is in debt and in desperate need for jobs should jump at any chance to fix it. no im not saying marijuana will fix our problems but it can help. our state needs the money from the taxes and our citizens need jobs that the industry will create. not one state that has legalized marijuana has relegalized it. 15 states are already getting the benifits cant we join them. so if not for the jobs and the revenue that marijuana can create and has done so in other states for my wife and all those who suffer daily like her. my wife is 28 and has a rare brain malformation called chiari malformation she has underwent five brain surgeries and two exploratory surgeries in her head and abdomen in the past two years the doctors have put her on every medication possible for the many side effects of chiari and none seem to work without causing equally unpleasant side effects she suffers daily from head aches nausea and pain from head to toe with these awful dizzy spells that completly disorient her and this is all on a good day and with all surgeries available to fix this disorder exhausted there is nothing else the doctors can do so one day out of the blue I asked my wife to try smoking marijuana and it was a miracle almost all of her symptoms were made bareable if not conpletly gone she began to smoke a lil bit three or four times a day and went from twelve meds to four a day and it was great for a few weeks but then she realized how much trouble she would be in if she got caught or what someone would think if they found out so she quit and no we are back to all those symptoms and meds so please help me give my wife so comfort she is only 28 and no one should be made to live thier life in constant pain and discomfort we have tried everything and the only thing that works is marijuana but due to the laws she must live this way or face punishment or moving away from all of our friends and family in order for her to get some relief without fear of consequences so please help please.......REPORT COMMENTS

I have IBS and Chrons Disease and have been suffering with them since birth. By age 17 I was a 6 foot tall 113 pound walking stick, I can hardly eat without getting severe stomach pains and sometimes nausea. Being so thin i was sick often which combined with the low weight just shot my immune system and my appetite dropped significantly. After looking to cannabis it greatly stimulated my appetite and took away the majority of my stomach pain. I have combined cannabis and excersising and now am alot more healthy not sick near as much and went from 113 pounds in the hospital to a healthy 175 pounds. I am thrilled that I have found something that works so well for me but WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE ILLEGAL!!? It doesn't kill people and wouldn't be a gateway drug if people didn't have to go through shady often crime related drug dealers. Legalize and tax it, it would help people and the state by making some extra money to put toward law enforcement and city improvements.REPORT COMMENTS

Everyone please watch The Union: The Business Behind Getting High. Also this will help people regain control over our nation as a democracy. The pharmaceutical companies have too much power. This is why pot is still illegal. It's because the pharmaceutical lobbyists are keeping it that way. Man! **** those guys!REPORT COMMENTS
