People are finding it harder and harder to get legitimate prescriptions filled in pharmacies across this nation because pharmacists are choosing not to fill them practicing medicine without knowing the reasons a dr chose to prescribe the medicines for a patient and this is so wrong. They in many cases are threatening the lives of these patients by throwing them into withdrawal from medications when these patients cannot get their medications refilled with life threatening consequences yet they just decide not to fill the prescriptions without even asking questions of a patient or the patient's physician. This is so wrong. Why does the DEA go after legitimate prescription holders instead of the people on the streets who are meth or heroin dealers? This makes no sense to me.REPORT COMMENTS

Suicides are on the rise in the chronic pain community and there has also been an increase in heroin use, due to the fact, there has been a lack of pain medications available by physicians to give what is needed for these patients. People whom are in pain are going to want relief from the torture that we feel day in and day out. It is psychologically cruel to allow someone to tolerate that amount of ongoing pain. Big brother and the D.E.A should not be allowed to decide what is best for my care or any other human's care since they are not doctors, moreover, are not my doctor. We treat animals better than human's and this needs to end. Individual's and their physicians should be the only one's in charge of a patients healthcare plan and medication plan. Allow the physician treating the pain do drug tests and keep track of their patients and everyone else stay out of it. It is my right to have proper healthcare and the proper pain medication needed for my chronic pain.REPORT COMMENTS

The need for proper pain medication is not going away. Those with un-treatable diseases, like my own Chronic Pancreatitis, require relief from pain. We currently treat our pets better than we treat humans who are in pain and suffering.REPORT COMMENTS

I have been treated unfairly, put down by medical staff, and treated like a criminal because I am a patient at a pain management doctor's office. I am well monitored and drug tested every monthly visit. I truly have pain. It adds insult to injury when I'm mistreated by supposed "professionals".REPORT COMMENTS
