It is dealers like Bob frederick's that kept dodge in business in the first place. In handling the order for my 09 Challenger Bob displayed the utmost professionalism? he did not try to gouge me with price and always kept me informed about the status of my order. Bob Frederick's followed through with every question I had even after the car was delivered.. this is even more impressive since I live in Davie, FL and his dealership is over 1200 miles away. None of the local dealers here can hold a candle to his service. Please understand what I am saying here, even though there were hundreds, if not a thousand Dealers closer to me. I chose to go with Bob Frederick's dealership because they treated me with respect and honesty. The saying goes money talks, well my money went 1200 miles away because they were the only Dodge dealer that earned my business. I can honestly say that without Bob's dealership I would NOT have bought my dodge car last year. Bob Frederick's is the model for dealerships that the new Chrysler needs. He has gone beyond the norm to get Dodge Chrysler to listen to its customers and to make changes to its product line that is more in line with what we the consumers want. How many other dealers have you heard about that the public is actually requesting that they NOT be closed. I would be shocked if it is more than a handful. I want the new Chrysler to succeed, but unfortunately if they do not realize the value of a dealer like Bob Frederick's then they are destined for failure. I for one will not buy a FIAT, Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge product if Bob's dealership is closed. Sincerely, Carlos Lopez Davie, FL 954-693-9344

The government needs to stop interfering with the private sector. And the corporations need to stop asking for help and run the business as a business and not a game.

Many comments have been made as to whether or not these terminated dealers are good or bad dealers. The truth is, it doesn't matter. These dealers have THE SAME CONTRACT as the rest of the dealers with Chrysler. Chrysler has gone to the courts to circumvent these contracts. These dealers have worked long and hard, invested everything they have into their businesses and in some cases will lose everything and may face bankruptcy themselves. Not to mention the lost jobs. The bankruptcy courts are allowing Chrysler to prefer one dealer over another! This is outrageous! GM has not done this to their dealers. Chrysler has given 3 WEEKS NOTICE of TERMINATION. To spend decades, even generations building a business and try to wind down in three weeks...it cannot be done! GM has given dealers until October 2010 at which time GM will not renew the contract, but instead allow the contract to expire and not renew it. They are not circumventing the contract by going to the courts for permission to give dealers' life savings away. Why can't they allow these contracts to expire as GM is doing and at least allow these people time to liquidate and get their affairs in order...perhaps pickup something to replace it? Giving these dealers a little more time isn't going to make any difference to Chrysler one way or the other.

?Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness? ? "Among these inalienable rights, as proclaimed in that great document, is the right of men to pursue their happiness, by which is meant the right to pursue any lawful business or vocation, in any manner not inconsistent with the equal rights of others, which may increase their prosperity or develop their faculties, so as to give to them their highest enjoyment.? THIS ACT IS ILLEGAL and who will be accountable?

I can't believe Chrysler has the nerve to drop dealers that have been loyal to them for years!!!!! Please stop the madness!!! Keep Bob Frederick CJD in business!!!! I drove 5 hrs to visit Bob's dealership just to see a car! Bob was so kind to come in on his day off to show us his car and spend the afternoon with us!! How many dealers do you know that would do that????(not many)!!!!! Frederick's understand customer service and are so loyal to the CJD brand!! Chrysler needs to have their heads examained for even thinking about letting Frederick's go!! They should be giving them a pat on the back for the great job they have done!!! Please review the formula Chrylser used to axe dealers!!! I believe that somebody up high added names to list just because they could!!!!!!!!!!

Another government controlled crime. If you don't think the congress is involved with kickbacks, I have swamp land for sale.
