I believe that there should be a amendment to the law to decriminalize marijuana in any form for several reasons. First and foremost I was a police officer and I can tell you from 3 years experience that marijuana smokers are not violent and the "drug" does no permanent damage such as death with overdosing. Marijuana is a safer alternative to any street drug and or synthetic marijuana because it has not killed anyone and doesn't ruin lives. Why waste tax payers dollars on incarceration of and investigating a "drug" that does not harm anyone. I really would support legalization of and tax of marijuana because use of harder drugs would be tossed to the curb if marijuana was legal. Less money would be spent in keeping non violent people that use marijuana and not harming anyone and you could tax the sales and it would help the budget issues faced by Frankfort and Washington.Jun 4th, 2012Someone from Williamstown, KY signed.

The time for medical MJ in Kentucky has come. It is a basic right of every human being to be able to medicate themselves as they see fit. What better way to ease ones own pain and suffering than to grow and consume the most revered plant in all of human history? Cannabis prohibition is a farce. It is a war on nature and our personal liberty. It is unconstitutional and it's evil.REPORT COMMENTS

We need this done, MJ is being wasted as a resource by not allowing us to use it for stuff like pain, sleep and hunger. We need to build steam to get this prop rolling!REPORT COMMENTS

Other people besides vets suffer with PTSD and they too should be allowed access to medical marijuana. I suffer from PTSD, fibromyalgia, CFS, Major Depression, IBS, and COPD...I would prefer medicinal marijuana to battle Pain, Anxiety, Insomnia, Nausea and the other multitude of symptoms that I suffer from. Thank you!REPORT COMMENTS

Should definitely be made availible to Vets who suffer from anxiety, grief, depression , and PTSD. No t through the VA but they should be allowed to have a card to either buy or grow their own legally.REPORT COMMENTS

I believe this is a long time coming. Marijuana can be used to help so many people, myself, included i am a bi-polar manic depressive person that would benefit from being able to smoke without consequence.REPORT COMMENTS

Medical marijuana and industrial hemp should be legalized. Help alleviate the needless suffering. Please!!! Carl Sagan noted astrophysicist claimed the answer to the problem of racism and disharmony is marijuana. Also, industrial hemp is currently legal in 32 countries. That would be a boon for farmers and the whole country as tobacco quotas have ended. Farmers need a new cash crop. Government needs more tax revenues. God bless America.REPORT COMMENTS
