Myself i belive it would be best for alot of people. MARIJUANA to me is not a drug but a herb that grows from the ground brought to us by the good Lord above. Pills on the other hand is made from man, I don't want to be scared to swollow a pill and the next morning I don't wake up. More people die from pills than marijuana if you think about it. It can help a person if they don't abuse it. But alot of people Abuse Pills. So I belive if they do start this it would be a good thing for alot of people who do need and just might be good for alot of people who don't need it. Once you smoke it, it seem to me that it slows down time ur relax, and it takes all ur pain away. And I hope the state of Kentucky will take a good look around and knowing in the back of their minds there going to help lots of people inneed:) Come on Kentucky take the pain away and pass that BILL:)

I think marijuana should be legal, because it helps the patients that need it. & it helps them stay calm and restiant to people.

I have ironic pain in my lower back, left leg, and also my neck. I have a nerve stimulator implanted in my back which helps my leg pain but they can't help the pain in my back and neck. I don't want to live on pain pills so I would like to be able to try other options. And from my research marijuana has less side effects than many other prescription drugs.

Okay people seriously think about all the problems we have had with pain pills in this area, I personally struggled with them, but I've been clean for 11 months now. But I still have problem with knee and back pain, so I would greatly benefit from medical marijuana, along with thousands of other people

Look at people who are addicted to marijuana and look at people who are addicted to pain pills. Prescription drugs are 50 times more damaging, 50 times more addictive, and 50 times more legal. Medical marijuana can be a prescription drug that is actually more helpful than damaging, not to mention that it could become KY's biggest cash crop.

Besides the obvious incredibly positive medical implications, this would also provide a path for peoples living in eastern Kentucky a path for making money doing something they are good at, but are currently being prosecuted for

My wife has severe crohn's disease she has tried all the medication available to treat with minimal results.I watch her suffer daily there are medical marijuana therapies for this condition. I still cant believe legislators have the gall not to let people with debilitative and/or terminal illness seek non opioid based medication.
