I certainly support this petition, with one exception. I will not knowly sign any petition that will bail out auto workers union and any of their representitives. I do not and will not support the union and only support indepenent dealerships.REPORT COMMENTS

They should at least divide the $5 billion taxpayer dollars between the terminated dealers.REPORT COMMENTS

In a time where Congress is spending billions to support our financial institutions such as AIG and the bonuses of bad judgement, you'd think they would wise up and support people who work for a living. I cannot understand why Chrysler is so hell bent on trimming it's dealerships since they are stand-alone entities who garner no financial support from Chrysler. If anything having such a large network has probably been the one thing that has kept Chrysler going through many of its lean years in the past. The small family run dealerships have offered better service after the sale than the big multi-brand places and is the deciding factor for me when buying a car. To date have bought nothing but American made from the big 3 my entire life. Should this plan go into affect (also includes GM), I will have no choice but to buy a Honda from a small dealership for my next purchase. So Chrysler, put that into your business model as I'm sure that I am not the only one who thinks this way.REPORT COMMENTS
