Don't forget the people that you serve. Give the dealers a soft landing. Four weeks is not time to dismantle a business, even GM gave their dealers a year and a half

As a dealership employee, I am seeing about 60 people lose their jobs due to greed and unrealistic regulations set forth by Chrysler.

The Dealerships should not be the ones punnished for chryslers mistakes. Dealerships are not a financial burden upon chrysler. Don't let them shut us down. Don't let them put thousands in unemployment lines. The inoccent people who work for the dealerships are the ones who will be in turmoil. their are no jobs to go to when we are all fired. This is one sure way to make this economy even worse. Our elected officals need to do every thing they can to protect the best interest of the people and letting chrysler close down hundreds of dealerships is not the way to do that.

The dealers do not cost the automakers anything. The automakers charge the dealers for everything; including but not limited to: training, tools, and use of their computer system.

I own a new Jeep and would like to continue the excellent 15 year relationship that I've had with my local Dealer . I don't under stand why my dealer should no longer be allowed to sell Chrysler products because Chrysler surely will not save or gain in eliminating local loyal independent dealers . My next new vehicle will be purchased from a local , around the corner dealer , not one I have to travel too .
