We are writing in regards to the abrupt and unjustified closing of Westminster Dodge located in Dorchester, MA. Westminster Dodge has been a family owned business in our neighborhood for over 4 decades. Many of us are asking for your help to save this successful dealership that has been serving the community for 40 years. We hope that you respond promptly, as this dealership has been given no notice and advised to close its doors in less than 3 weeks. This will eliminate many local jobs as well as revenue. If we allow this to happen, this will truly explain much of the reason why the US economy is in the state it is in, but also why the unemployment rate is what it currently is! We are awaiting your prompt plan of action!REPORT COMMENTS

And how does it happen that the UAW will OWN 55% of Chrysler after the bankruptcy. Is it not TAXPAYER money that is being used in these transactions?REPORT COMMENTS

I will be incredibly disappointed and angered if my North Kingstown, RI Jeep dealership is shut down. They are convenient, professional, trustworthy, clean, organized, customer friendly... everything I look for in a dealership and what I would think would be rewarded by Chrysler. If this dealership is closed, my next vehicle will be a Honda!REPORT COMMENTS

Senators, With the crushing economic times I feel it is your duty to keep what little movement in the economy moving. This will not happen with more layoffs and closures of employment oportunities. Please find a way!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Shutting down dealers based on Chrysler's actions is fraudulent. Chrysler pushed dealers to buy more inventory, filed for bankruptcy, and is now attempting to leave the dealers with the inventory that they forced them to buy while pulling their franchise. This is a clear case of fraud.REPORT COMMENTS
