It seems wrong to close so many smaller dealerships. I have always had good service I am on my sixth Jeep. By closing these dealerships Chrysler will lose me as a customer. -

I drive quite a distance to go to this dealership because at other places I have felt pressure to purchase maintenance items that i didn't want or need. The people at the service desk are pleasant and take the time to listen to what you have to say, even though in my case it's in "dohicky" terms. Every time I've been in for vehicle maintenance I've been treated with respect and never felt pressured to buy anything. I appreciate a business that you can trust and rely upon.REPORT COMMENTS

All my dealings with Chrysler have been positive and the best. This is an outright outrage to close these dealerships. There must be a way of saving them. Don't take the easy way out. Work to keep them open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep Tarbox Attleboro specifically open!!!!!!!!!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I had a smooth and easy time purchasing my '08 Jeep Wrangler from Tarbox Jeep. Their customer service was topnotch. They are the leader in RI and New England in Jeep sales. It doesn't make much sense closing their dealership when they are far and above the top selling dealership in New England.REPORT COMMENTS

I work for Century Dodge in Taylor Michigan. I cannot comprehend how Chrysler or the bankrupcy courts would allow a dealership who is number 59 in the nation to be closed. Claiming that you are closing dealerships who are not achieveing their goals is ludicrist. We are in the top 10 dealerships in Michigan. Be Real. You need to rethink the fact that you are not Toyota where they like everything under one roof. You are Chrysler where Americans like the fact they can shop dealerships for not only the price of a car but for a salesperson they can trust. A Dealership that they can trust to take care of them after the sale of their car. A dealership that treats their customers like they are part of the family. Putting the dealerships out of business DOES NOT COST OR SAVE Chrysler any money. It cost the dealership unemployment benefits, cost the dealership the loyal employees that need to focus on how they will survive and care for their families and make ends meet. Chrysler MAKES all dealerships send their salespeople and mechanics to training classes that cost the DEALERSHIP'S a substanacial amount of money that they will be loosing for the closing of 789 dealership. We need our jobs. We are a 30 year family owned dealership that has customers who do not want to go anywhere else to have to buy a car or have them serviced. We have customers who come in just to say hello, have a cup of coffee, take their salesperson out to lunch. They like the fact that we show them we care about them. CHRYSLER MAKES the dealerships become a 5 STAR DEALERSHIP a prestige honor for dealership to have with Chrysler Corporation. You do not take into consideration what hoops you make us jump through just to stay a top dealership that is honored to be able to sell your Chrysler products. We build trust in our products we sell and we want to keep it that way. We need to keep our dealerships open. We cannot afford as Americans to allow the government to close our dealerships. We are salespeople who work off commission. Chrysler does not pay us for not selling cars and they will not be paying a dime when we are not employeed and looking to make ends meet. Who will bail us out of the depression we are going to be in?? Fix this problem before it is too late. Stop the closing of the dealership. Stop giving BAILOUT money to the banks who use the money to bail themselves out and line their own wallets. All Chrysler asked for was a LOAN you know borrow the money and pay it back. Take money from the CEO's who are making 6 digits and have them take realistic paycuts to compensate what they have done to the corporations. Greed needs to stop at the top levels. KEEP THE DEALERSHIPS WORKINGREPORT COMMENTS

I cannot fathom that our democratic government is choosing to ignore our country's founding principles and is arbitrarily closing private business with no respect to their rights or well being. Put appropriate laws into place and allow capitalism and free enterprise to do the rest.REPORT COMMENTS

I am Nicholas Parks, President of Rogers Dodge, Inc. We have a long letter at rogersdodge.com explaining the particular injustice of stealing our franchise. At any rate, my intuition is that Congress, the President and the bankruptcy court don't really understand our industry - the fact that we bear the costs of loss on these franchises, not Chrysler.REPORT COMMENTS
