It seems to reflect the state of business when a family owned dealerships, such as Tarbox Jeep is forced to close it's doors. My family has been dealing with Tarbox motors for decades and they have proven themselves as a business that cares for their clients. Closing this dealership would be a slap in the face to all of it's customers who have come to rely on them for great service.

I love you guys! I have purchased 5 jeeps from you. I want to continue! You are only 2 miles from my home. I love the convenience. Your customer service is unsurpassed. Your service department is the best that I have EVER experienced! They know me by name and treat me like a queen. I want and need you around for many more years to come.

It is most unfortunate to have so many people affected by the greed of so many people and live off the backs of those providing them their incomes, regardless of where they are in the food chain. Humility will go a long way if you actually try to do the right thing for everyone. Each community will be hurt by shutting down such dealers and those who work with the financing software for such companies as Chrysler.

I have been a Tarbox Jeep customer for 10 years since moving to Rhode Island and have purchased 3 Jeeps I could name 5 other Chrysler dealers who should be closed before Tarbox If the decision is being made for political reasons--or if a VP in Detroit has it out for Tarbox---let the statistics of all the Crysler dealers in the be the comparison.--and let someone with no stake make the decision based on "Dollars for Chryler" in the future be the measurment as well as service. I am 74 years old and rate the service dept the best I have ever been associated with I will nor by a Jeep from any converted Dodge franchaise I would rather go the Toyota family --if that what Chrysler or the gov't wants!!!!!!!

In an administration which is trying to bring common sense back to Government, it makes NO sense to close highly successful and productive dealerships. Let's open our eyes and look at this travesty.

Closing Dealerships is not working Smarter. I thought the objective was to put people to work and stimulate the economy. How is putting good People out of work accomplishing that? Please keep Tarbox Jeep of Rhode Island OPEN. We need to have good business competition for the consumer. Closing and putting People out of work is going the opposite direction.

Dennis L\ Warwick,R.I. Please Keep Tarbox Jeep opened. They are a first rate Dealership and also the New England Volume Leader. It would be a great loss to Rhode Island and Jeep Owners.

Why close a dealer has that has been around for 75 years? They must have done something right to survive this long, right?

I have been going to this dealer since owning my Jeep. It's close to home and the service is FIVE STAR. Not too many dealers can say this. It would be a hardship to loose this. Great Sales, Serviceand Honesty.

Do you really want all these cars driving great distances to service their vehicles? Isn't this administration worried about global warming?

We have purchased / leased four (4) Jeeps from Tarbox. The sale and services department ae unequal to any other dealership I have gone to. Chysler should be proud to have such a dealership. Shame on you Chrysler!

As someone else commented earlier, I don't agree with everything in the petition text, but I would like to ask that taking the Jeep dealership away from Tarbox Jeep in North Kingston, RI be reconsidered. They seem to be one of the most successful Jeep dealers in RI and they're the dealer from whom I purchased my Jeep vehicle. They have been great to deal with and have provided me with great customer service over the years. It's likely that, if they're still around, I would purchase another Jeep vehicle from them in the near future. I've been a loyal Jeep owner (Wranglers and a Liberty)for the past 20 years. Tarbox Jeep is the closest Jeep dealer for me for servicing my vehicle; if they were not in the area, I would have to rethink the brand of vehicle to purchase in the future. Chrylser, please reconsider taking the dealership franchise from Tarbox Jeep in North Kingston, RI. Thank you.

I agree-family run businesses like Tarbox-who have been a very successful franchise is being punished by Chrysler Corporation. The reason people come to America is to become successful-not to have the Government control them! That's why my parents left Sweden-too high taxation and the cost of every item one buys including cars was unbelievable-imagine every American having only 1 vehicle-that's not the American way!!!!! It's a crime what Chrysler did to the family owned businesses-what are the dealers going to do with all the left over parts? Chrysler who threw away all the money (the CEO's probably are enjoying it-corruption) should buy back all the parts and vehicle inventories-they got enough money from the taxpayers! Putting heavy taxes on those making over 250K-no new businesses are going to survive-especially the family run businesses. Are you going to heavily tax the movie stars -who are mostly liberal, and don't deserve making the money they earn-they're not that great, so I suppose everyone in the US is going to be taxed to the hilt so everyone will be earning the same amount of money? Well, I guess there's no point moving to America to become successful anymore and forget about freedom! Keep this family run business going-they have worked so hard and are successful and Chrysler is going to ruin this because of their poor management? And they are hiding behind bankruptcy only to have an easy way out of the mess they made! Keep Tarbox going as they are a successful and very well known business in our community-I guess no one cares about the people who work for him either? This stinks!

Go ahead with this plan of terminating these Dealers that have sold and marketed your product for years and made you all very wealthy. Go right ahead and I will tell you right now I will NEVER buy another vehicle made by you. I am quite positive that goes for many taxpayers that have had to bail your ass out! I have always bought American cars but now I guess it looks like a foreign purchase is in my future. Go right ahead with this plan-BRING IT ON, you will be very sorry!

what is going on with the people at the top! i thought they were suposed to have gotten to that position because they were smart. "WE ARE MAD AS HELL AND WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK!"-quoted Jerry Doyal (might have spelled that wrong) but anyway, its time to stand up to theese people. remember the power that we have as a people! and we need to let them hear it!
