To close Tarbox Jeep a Five Star dealership in North Kingstown is terrible. They are honest hard working folks who have been successful for over 75 years this action from Chrysler is unreal. What has happened to our great County? Where are the freedoms we are suppose to possess? Ones business can just be taken away over night and should be totally forgotten and ignored?? Please keep Tarbox Motors, Inc. they do not deserve this terrible injustice from Chrysler. Personally I hope Chrysler FAILS then they we feel a bit of the pain others are feeling now.REPORT COMMENTS

I don't want to see Tarbox Jeep close. I don't expect the fat executives from Chrysler to change my oil or service my car. If they put Tarbox out of business I'll lose respect for Chrysler and probably buy my next car somewhere else.REPORT COMMENTS

I have been a Tarbox Jeep customer for more that 10 years and hope to be for many more. I rate the service dept the best I have ever been associated with. I thought the objective was to put people to work and stimulate the economy. How is putting good People out of work accomplishing that? Please keep Tarbox Jeep of Rhode Island OPEN.REPORT COMMENTS

Tarbox Jeep in Rhode Island is the #1 Jeep dealer in New England. I bought my a Jeep in February to support America - my first American made car. Now you want to shut down the dealer. The message you are sending is anti-capitalism and pro-mediocrity. How do you choose to put the #1 entity out of business and keep one that is second rate?! Jeep buyers want Jeeps - there is no cross selling to other Dodge - Chrysler products. We want to go to a Jeep dealer, not a combo plan.REPORT COMMENTS

Tarbox has been an outstanding dealer for MANY years. To terminate someone in the top 12% of sales is to say sales are not important. It is sales, and high volume dealers like Tarbox, that will make the difference. No company ever cut their way to success by elimination of top sales representatives.REPORT COMMENTS

I DON'T KNOW HOW CHRYSLER CAN FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. TAXPAYERS HAVE "GIVEN" MONEY TO THEM AND THEY THANK US BY CLOSING ONE OF THE BEST DEALERSHIPS THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 30 YEARS OF CAR BUYING. IT IS OUT UNBELIEVABLE THAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN SAY WHO STAYS AND WHO GOES. IF THEY LOOKED INTO THE DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS IN THE AREA AND HOW CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED, TARBOX IS ONE OF THE BEST IN SALES, SERVICE AND ESPECIALLY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I COULD GIVE YOU THE NAME OF OTHER DEALERSHIPS THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH AND NOT TREATED 1/4 AS NICE AS I HAVE BEEN AT TARBOX. IN MY OPINION, TARBOX SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE LIST OF DEALERSHIP CLOSEUR.REPORT COMMENTS

The objective of stimulus / bail out money is to maintain and create jobs. Let me get this straight / You are taking taxpayer money, to bail out Chrylser, which in turn, closes profitable dealerships, and places Rhode Islanders in the unemployment line, which is funded by taxpayers. While you are at it, make sure the corporate executives at Chrysler receiive healthy bonuses. Tarbox has been an honest and successful business.REPORT COMMENTS

This country was built by individuals taking risks like my local Jeep dealer did over 60 years ago. The entrepreneurial spirit that once was the dream of every American is dwindling. The government cannot allow and should not be a part of crushing the little guys. THEY ARE AMERICA! Closing these dealerships cannot help the corporations because they pay for everything up front! Where is the savings. Good government is about making smart decisions and there is NO upside in these! Verona Jeep was a credit to the community it serves! Obama motors should be out of business not these guys!REPORT COMMENTS

My Family has enjoyed our Jeep Wrangler during all 4 seasons of the year(skiing, beach, hiking, off-roading, etc.)! We will not purchase another Jeep or any other Chrysler product(EVER!),if they close this facility. Everyone there has been great to us; from the first time we looked at them, through the purchase process, and service. Fire the Executives that continue to steal from the American people and harm our way of life! Not the people that sweat to make a living!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Dear Mr. President Why are you allowing this? It seems that the rich keep taking the money and running, and the middle class hard working people are left to bail them out.... You need to make the people responsible for the financial crisis accountable, and stop this assault on the middle class hard working people. When I purchased my Jeep, I felt like I was family...and have had the same welcome every time I've entered the dealership....I'm a strong believer of keeping the locals in business and not supporting the greed of the wealthy. Instead of pushing this back on the middle class people, why don't you start freezing the assets of the people who caused this kayos is the first place.REPORT COMMENTS
