I am a Chrysler minority car dealer for 16+ years. My dealership is in a small rural town with population of 8000. Closure of my store would not only be detrimental to my family but also to employees and the town of La Junta, Colorado. We desperately need your help!

this is a disgusting. the government should be using its resources to help the people. instead they're acquiescing to the demands of corporate america. chrysler would have never been able to carry out their hitlist if it weren't for the government's active support. these terminations are illegal, but the bankrupcy court is providing amnesty for these fatcat criminals. the last 8 years of favoring wall street over main street was completely dissasterous and we voted for a new direction. where is it? only the names have changes, but the war on the middle and working class continues.

Closing the doors of viable businesses that are not costing Chrysler one dime is not the right answer. Chrysler will orphan millions of customers who will never come back. They buy from Dealers they know and trust.

I work in the service department of a small town dealer that has been affiliated with Chrysler for well over 50 years. During that tenure, we have been a 5 Star Dealer, meeting every request and requirement set forth for us from Chrysler. After years of dedicated service, we've been stripped of our Chrysler franchise with no more than a letter to notify us. It's an insult to the owner and every employee who works here. For years, Chrysler has been trying to eliminate small dealers but have been fairly unsuccessful because of franchise laws. With this bankruptcy comes a ?no holds barred? mentality and no laws to protect the small town dealers. This course of action is unjust and can only further damage our struggling economy by creating less jobs and less competition among dealers, resulting in higher costs to consumers. Never have I worked at, nor even heard about a dealer than is as devoted to customer satisfaction as our dealership. Fortunately for us, we will not be shutting our doors, and that is a direct result of our customer loyalty and community support. We'll continue to satisfy the needs of our customers, with or without the Chrysler name on the door.

The name "Tarbox" in Rhode Island is synonymous with "Jeep." I enjoy dealing with that family and dealerships and I don't think I would consider the other options in or around this state. I will probably switch brands rather than buy from the alternative.

Chrysler has no right to terminate dealer franchises. Do not let this happen!

this government is so far out of hand that I am embarrassed by the methods our elected officials have implemented. The 30,000 pound elephant is clearly the UAW! Why has every other entity been expected to make concessions but them? Down with our president he is a communist pig!
