Although I don't agree with everything in the petition, I bought a Jeep because of the Tarbox in North Kingstown, RI. Good people, working hard, and running a nice dealership. Always talked straight to me whether sales, service, or financing. I guess it may make sense to get rid of some dealerships, but why would one close a profitable and New England high-volume dealership that serves a large portion of a growing part of the state? If they are not there, I will not buy another. I guess we'll all end up driving Toyotas instead of Jeeps. How does that help Chrysler, our economy, or our country?REPORT COMMENTS

I have been working for a five star dealer for over 20 years. Our dealer and staff has given over the top customer service and has backed the cooperation 100% now there cutting us free, It's a slap in the face and apsolutely unnecessary. Chrysler should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to there loyal dealers.REPORT COMMENTS

My brother was among the Chrysler Dealers who received a franchise termination letter. Our father and uncle founded the the dealership the early 1940's. My brother is a small dealer in a small Georgia town and I guess deemed too small to succeed unlike Freddie and Fannie who were deemed large to fail. The recent legislative actions taken by our government and Congress are deplorable and sickening. The pending takeover of private enterprise and the associated cost of the administrations policies are beyond belief. Where is the statesmanship, honor and integrity so drastically needed in government. Have we seen the best days in the U.S.? I sincerely pray that those in control review, re-consider and resend many of the recently adopted and proposed policy changes. The capricious, unwarranted termination of many Chrysler dealer's franchises may be just the tip of the iceberg illuminating the future of American enterprise if we continue along the current path.REPORT COMMENTS

I support President Obama. The person's who sent me this petition assumes I agree with them. They could not be more wrong. The real problems are the disasterous policies of the last 8 years. President Obama's leadership, at home and abroad, has been outstanding. We now have a brighter future, thanks to the American people who elected him by a wide margin and all over the nation. We need to get to work, to get our foreign policy on track, to get the economy moving again, to fix the housing crisis, to make progress on green energy, health care and education. The outdated rhetoric of this petition are the last gasps of a failed and miserable conservative ideology. Don't let them - the party of no - fool you again. God bless America. And thank you for your attention.REPORT COMMENTS
