This is about as UN-AMERICAN as you can get. CHRYSLER CORPORATION itself is to blame for the ridiculous mess it is in NOT the dealers. The majority of the dealers on the 'CLOSING' list are in small towns and are ones that carry all 3 brands, CHRYSLER, DODGE, & JEEP and were SOLVENT and NOT OVEREXTENDED and have GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE RECORDS!!! Someone in the government and/or the bankruptcy court needs to STOP THIS ASSAULT against SMALL TOWN AMERICA right now!REPORT COMMENTS

We are writing to urge you to take action to keep Ted Miles Jeep open. Although Chrysler is filing for bankruptcy and must close many of its dealerships, Ted Miles Jeep should be taken off the closure list. We recently purchased a used car from Ted Miles Jeep which subsequently developed a mechanical issue during its warranty period. We were impressed beyond measure by the integrity and customer service offered by the entire staff of Ted Miles Jeep. They went above and beyond all expected levels of customer service and resolved the mechanical issue with the absolute least inconvenience to us as possible and did not skimp on the repair work in any way. They car now runs perfectly and we are very satisfied and impressed. Closing Ted Miles Jeep is not in Chrysler?s best interest. It is the honor and integrity of the local dealerships which earns or loses the trust of its customers. Chrysler should not disassociate itself from the demonstrated honor and integrity of Ted Miles Jeep. Chrysler would do well to recognize that Ted Miles Jeep is a great asset. Moreover, the City of Atascadero loses its only new car dealership if Ted Miles Jeep is closed. Ted Miles Jeep is an asset to the City of Atascadero and the County of San Luis Obispo and we request our elected representatives to do what they can to save the last new car dealership in Atascadero, California. I have been dealing with Corwin Chrysler Jeep in Hickory, PA for years. I enjoy being able to know these people on a personal standpoint rather than be a number on a windshield. When was the last time you hugged a used car salesman. I did and will always be appreciatetive of genuine people such as are at Corwin. I also want the government, that is incapable of running a cat house in Vegas, to let market forces prevail instead of trying to play Mr. CEO to both Chrysler and GM.REPORT COMMENTS
