This is ridiculous... Family owned businesses that have been succesful for years are being forced to closed or losing their franchise... Doesn't sound like America to me... Since when does the White House dictate what happens to private companies? Oh yeah, since they decided to thumb their nose at the Constitution and TAKE private companies away... What is this, Nazi Germany, USSR, or Facist Italy?

Weathers Dodge is Lima, PA. Hardworking, honest, generous, community leaders, since 1922. msnbc, May 26, 2009. ?It costs them very little to keep this guy,? said George Hoffer, professor of economics at Virginia Commonwealth University, referring to Weathers Dodge." There is no reason why this franchise should be elminated and the impact on the community will be devastating.

Westminster Dodge does not meet any of the criteria for closing. This is a Boston institution. Is this politics internal to Chrysler or our goverment ?

Please do not close Weather's Dodge just outside Media. It is a very important part of this community! Don't let everything go to the BIG guys and forget the little ones that do so much.

Stop closing the businesses that have been the core of the country. The dealers near me have been there for more years than Obama has been born. These people took a gamble & used their sweat to start these business & get this country going. But you are closing them. Besides that I want to cash in my portion of GM.

Krebs Chrysler dealership in Pittsburgh is another of the smaller run family businesses that is taking the fall for poorly run management at the highest reaches of chrysler. as a taxpayer, I want my support to go to dealerships like Krebs.

Please keep the dealers who have kept Chrysler in business for all of these years. Weathers Dodge in Lima Pa has been a Chrysler dealer since the early 1930s. How can they pull the plug on a dealer who has been with them through all of the tough times. It is unfair and unjust that dealers who have been around for along time are kicked to the curb because of bad choices some executives have made.

Weathers Dodge, in Lima, PA, is a wonderful family-run business that has been an integral part of the community. Offering fair prices and excellent service, it is their personal contact, integrity, and honesty that makes them a vital part of free enterprise and the Amercian Way. Please let these small dealerships keep their franchises and their employees, and continue to contribute to our town,

I have had my minivan serviced by Weathers Dodge since moving to this area. They are exceptional at what they do and the loss of them will be great to your industry as well as our community.

I bought 9 vehicles from Weathers Dodge in Media PA. They are a Mom and Pop dealer that treats their customers like family. I think it may be time to not give millions to the executives that put the auto industry in this bad shape and help out the small guys instead of just cutting them off at the knees

I have great difficulty understanding how the government continues to aid and assist the big guys and in the process destroys the little guys. The common, hard working, citizen of the US is the back bone of this country, however, the government continues to reward the dysfuntional top while it destroys the middle and base. I pray that our country survives this debacle.

Chrysler is closing small dealerships -- this "Wal Mart" mentality is what has created many of the problems we have in this country. Everyone is just a number or a face and there's little or no personalized service anywhere.

From what I can see, the Chrysler dealers that are being closed are the small, family-run businesses that are the heart and soul of America. Our local dealer, in particular, is a well respected business in the community as well as in the auto dealership business. Weathers Dodge in Lima, PA has won many awards and is truly a great place to buy a car. They are fair and honest and not "fast-talking car salesmen". It is truly a loss to the community, as well as the United States, to have small businesses, like Weathers Dodge, that have integrity and honesty, to be forced out of business.

Hiding behind bankruptcy laws in order to destroy lives and void franchise contracts may be legal, but it is immoral and un-American. That says it all.

ROBBERY: The taking of money or goods in the possession of another, from his or her person or immediate presence, by force or intimidation. (I.E. The taking of a franchise that is owned and has been paid for without compensation.) So tell me what the difference is? Miles Motors Jeep has served San Luis Obispo County & Monterey County with commitment and honesty to his customers for many years. I ask you to stop this madness and let all the Chrysler dealers retain there franchises and keep people employed.
