In one misguided act, I have had two of my primary car dealers taken from me. Firts is Pleasant Valley Motors in Brodheadsville, PA. The are the only Dodge dealer in the Poconos I trust fo sales and service and one of two car dealers of any make within 10 miles of my home. Pleasant Valley Motors outshines its larger peers in terms of sales service and customer care. Now I am forced to deal with mega dealers. Also, by closing both Halterman's Jeep and Kovatch Jeep, the Pocono Mountains (the fastest growing area in PA and prime Jeep country) i sleft without Jeep sales and service. If such decisions are what I can expect from the government-run auto makers, I will be buying Toyota and Subaru instead of Jeep and Dodge. FYI: I own 5 Chrysler vehicles, the most recent being my 2007 Dodge Dakota and my wife's 2007 Dodge Caliber.REPORT COMMENTS

The president and congress do NOT care what the American people want. They just write their own scenario and keep repeating it until all the media reports it as fact. Saving and/or creating jobs is not what they are interested in. Their goal is to make us a one party country - isn't that what they had in Communist Russia and what the Chinese live with? I am furious that the president and his wife flew three planes and two helicopters to NY for a 'date' night. How many people went hungry that night? The sad thing is that people lined the streets and applauded him. Wake up, America!REPORT COMMENTS

Makes no sense to stop great local business people from serving the area and providing good paying jobs - especially in an economy like this!!! What is rationale?REPORT COMMENTS

Wrecking lives and taking personal fortunes seems like one more way of redistributing wealth to me. Chrysler made most of these dealers remodel, spending millions, and now cancel their franchise. Unbelievable!REPORT COMMENTS

Just because Chrysler CEOs are greedy and self-serving, doesn't mean all these dealerships should have to be shut down! Tell them to give some of the $$ back.....REPORT COMMENTS

I am outraged at the lunacy at the congressional level. Not a single congressperson even comes close to understanding the disgust and hatred we "little people" the US voter has for you total lack of understanding in what we want. Our local "Sunshine Dodge" has a great owner that his employees love. He is profitable, only until Obama instructed Chrysler to shut down 800 dealers, while having ZERO accountability in their actions. ZERO TRANSPARENCY AS TO HOW THEY DECIDED WHO'S DEALERSHIP TO CLOSE!!! Having owned 50-60 GM cars and will never, EVER buy a car from the Obama Motors (ex-GM). When will this piece of shit president Hussein EVER have to drive what he wants us to drive - tiny shitty death boxes on wheels. All this while he feels perfectly fine flying on my tax dollars all over the US just because he wants to. How about the flight over NY City just for a photo op????REPORT COMMENTS

Family owned business for many decades and the only Jeep dealership in the county should be able to continue doing business and keep the employees working and taxes where they are needed to support the community. Ted Miles Jeep (Atascadero, Calf.) is a well respected dealer serving the community for decades.REPORT COMMENTS

Our Local Dodge dealer is closing. This dealership has been a cornerstone of our community since my grandparents moved to Middletown,PA in th 50s. Weather's Dodge sponsors our school district events, donates money to our township and provided jobs for our citizens. It is horrible the way that thye have been treated and they will be missed.REPORT COMMENTS
