This road we are on as a nation breaks my heart. Please do allow this destruction to take over our communities robbing them of choice, taxes and the pursuit of the American dream achieved through hard work and effort. -

Closing of dealerships is probably necessary but clsoing successful dealerships that have exceed all published criteria for remaining in business is wrong!REPORT COMMENTS

I work for a Jeep Dealership and have been selling Jeeps for more than 8 years. I have spent numerous hours in training seminars, and through Web based training, mostly on my own time, in order to remain a "Certified Jeep Sales Representative." My efforts don't pale in comparison to the sacrifices, time and money, that the owners of Coleman Auto Group have made up to this point, regarding the Jeep product. The money to maintain this franchise, regarding technical training for mechanics(paid for by Coleman's)along with their mechanics salaries on Coleman's time when they're not turning wrenches, along with parts inventories is a commitment that very few businesses could afford. I could go on, but I think you get the point. To have this franchise taken away is a travesty, not just to Coleman, but to the remaining 788 Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep Dealers across this country. I'm proud to be an American and to sell an American product. If Chrysler and the Government go through with this, I will be selling new Subaru and Kia cars only. At least we have two successful franchises to fall back on, but it would be nice to have an American made product in the showroom as well.REPORT COMMENTS

It is clear to me why Chrysler is in trouble. When management makes STUPID decisions like canceling a good dealership that is selling many cars, making money and EMPLOYING 54 people, everyone knows why Chrysler is in trouble.REPORT COMMENTS

Research has been showing that the predominant number of Chrysler Dealerships that are being forced to shut down are large donors to the Republican Party! This is outrageous! You're all doing a fantastic job at destroying our economy, our personal liberties and our constitutional rights. Let these car companies that are successful stay in business! Your ending perfectly healthy businesses and jobs.REPORT COMMENTS

Once again it's the average everyday Americans that are getting hurt. How many lives have to be destroyed in this country? How many millions is Nardelli gonna walk away with on this one, I believe Home depot was around 210 million, while the average worker their struggles to make ends meet. It's no different with the dealerships gentlemen.REPORT COMMENTS

Rogers Dodge of Alvin appears to be a profitable dealership. Furthermore, they're not "closing" the dealership but giving it to someone else? How does this make sense. This is heavy handed federal BS and it needs to stop. I'm not scared to join the revolution.REPORT COMMENTS
