This is mainly the doing of the US government, which uses "TARP" loans to private companies to take over the very businesses it pretends to "bail out". Our US Congressmen and Senators who voted for these bailouts must be relieved of their jobs in 2010 to hold them accountable. That is the only way to stop their replacements from continuing their destructive work.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to happen. Or is this the government's idea of redistribution of wealth?

Solving Chrysler's problems is about getting their product, costs and quality in line. It is not about closing down small businesses that suppport employment for many families and many local community events. Let the market decide if a dealership needs to close, not arbitrary choices of questionable Chrysler management. There are some great dealers who are being treated very unfairly by the Obama backed auto team.

This is the wrong way to go about this. Corwin Jeep in Hickory, PA helps out this small community in many ways. Not only are they are a corner stone, but they are the oldest jeep dealer in the world! It's a landmark! That fact alone should keep them around.
