I feel that this move is another step towards the demolition of our country's principles of captialism and free market. to take the focus of growth and competition from anyone who has succeeded as a dealer and transfer that ownership to the UAW will surely close the door on the Chrysler legacy.

Please don't use my tax dollars to put hard-working Americans out of business and out of job.

Unless there is a lot more to this story than we are hearing, it is inconceivable that any sane person or business would take a franchise which has remained profitable in the current economic downturn, close it, and give it to the owner of a nearby unprofitable franchise. This profitable franchise has done a lot to help the poorly managed Chrysler corporation, and is being targeted - for what? Finding a way to be successful (and therefore buying more from the corporation than they would otherwise)? Only ulterior motives appear to exmaplin this behavior. Because I still believe that our judges and elected officials want to do what is best for the American people and what is in keeping with existing laws, I ask you to stop Chrysler terminating dealerships.

Removing car dealerships from communities will add to the numbers of jobs lost in the community as well as decrease the philanthropic giving of dealers at the local and state level. It's a lose-lose situation.

This whole business in un-American. Franchise owner should not be made to suffer. If their dealerships are viable, leave them alone. Shame on you, Chrysler!
