I strongly disagree this petition, it is completely baseless, this is like giving a very wrong message by saying that all H4's put fake resumes, I strongly condemn this as I saw many H4 wife's who are really talented professionals and had good work experience in their home country, were simply sitting at home and going into depression over time, and not all are IT professionals, there are so many people who are experienced in different fields. -

I strongly disagree with this petition. Why do we have to cage H1b Visa workers spouses? I mean It really doesn't make any sense. US is a democratic country and everyone has a right to do want they want to do. Forcing women to sit home and don't work is completely non humanitarian. I have seen lot of my friends who are engineers are sitting home because they cannot work though they have skills to do good job and in the end they all have gone into depression and their familes have suffered. Few of them have gone back to other countries where they can work. If we want to see US growing, we should allow these skillful women to work, this would be beneficial to US economy. I feel it is injustice to these spouses. I strongly condemn this petition.REPORT COMMENTS

H4 EAD bill should be passed which will help so many people who resigned their jobs previously and came to USA just because of marriage. They might have done graduation/Post graduation by spending 20 years but doing nothing in USA.H4 visa spoiling peoples life and dreams but H4 EAD will fix it like L2 EAD. I saw people mentioned that fake profiles, These day interview process is very much improved and accepting profiles only from LinkedIn.REPORT COMMENTS

Why H4's to be cursed. Let me ask 2 questions to the people who are disagreeing with the proposal of H4 EAD. 1. Can H4 candidates are eligible to work ( is this a work visa). No it's not a work visa it is a dependant visa. Then how can they get the experience? Give me fair answer. 2. Ok if they get the EAD / GC after ther regular process. Let us say after 10 years or more Can some one tell me. Can they get the experience just simply getting the GC / EAD after long waiting 10years/15years. I think they dont get the experience. Then what is there situation (future). As per some comments from the people (who disagree with H4 EAD proposal) It looks like they(H4) cannot work at all in IT in there lifetime even they have qualified degrees. I strongly oppose this petition as it does not make sense. Not all spouses want to work in the IT field. There are people who just want to get out of home and do some work. Also the person who has posted this petition seems to suggest H4 spouses will fake their resumes to get into IT jobs but again quite a lot of H1's do that currently. I think a petition should be raised to crack down on fake H1's first before stopping spouses who have spent years sitting at home without the option of working and getting out of their homes to have a career for themselves.REPORT COMMENTS

I strongly disagree with this petition. Not every H4 is entitle to get EAD from the new proposal and not every dependent spouse is catering or craving for IT jobs. There are management, Healthcare , legal and accounting background dependents, who will benefit from this rule. I agree to certain extent that, for IT jobs, people will fake their resumes, but that can be contained by thorough and stringent interview process. And also if dependents of L1 VISA can have EAD, why not H1B dependents.REPORT COMMENTS

I strongly agree to this petition. Most of the H4 enter into this country using the spouse's marriage relation ship. They might not have invested their time and energy for their career building as like others. Hence it is needed to verify them with their criteria to identify the talent and allow them to job market else the market would be flooded with faq resumes and the real potential person chances to seek the market would get affected. I strongly urge the government to take a note on this.REPORT COMMENTS

I strongly disagree ....1) all and every h4 visa holders are not going to get ead. .only those who are future American citizens. And agenda is to retain high skilled h1s who are leaving the country because their highly educated spouses doesn't get to work here. And such high skilled and experience people are rare and not easy to find which can help US economy to grow. 2) By mentioning about fraud interviews and experiences here are questioning US recruitment process. Also if any one has such experience than should file petition for that particular issue....why highly educated and skilled h4 who has not even got chance to appear for an interview should suffer. Please stop covering your own fear of losing jobs in such reasons which doesn't even exists.REPORT COMMENTS

Of course, passage of this rule is going to result in a nightmare in the low end IT work such as QA and System Administrators. If you are an h1B holder and working these positions, kiss your careers good bye. There are jobs on Craigslist "only for OPT holders" starting at $12 per hour. Retaining OPT holders is difficult for a variety of reasons including their youth and mobility. H4 housewives will most likely be homeowners, older and equally desperate. The market will flood with them very quickly. Their myopic husbands are too stupid to realize they are axing their own feet, but we cannot expect any better from the cheating and lying bunch, can we? I for one am pleased. Getting QAs at $12 an hour will improve my bottom line. Good luck to all of you.REPORT COMMENTS
