Why would anyone with half a brain force local hard working business men and woman out of business, creating further unemployment for those currently employed by these dealerships; especially when there is no cost to Chrysler or GM for these dealerships to be in business? Seems like a vialed attempt by the administrations "task force" to look like they are actually doing something to help these financially troubled Corporations! Please but a stop to this non sense and focus on legitimate ways to help Chrysler and GM be better world competitors with better built and more efficient vehicles!

Like many other dealers, our family has owned this Ford dealership since 1939. We sell and service 2 school bus fleets, over 5 police departments, over 5 fire departments, plus generations of families. We are the largest employer in our community and one of the largest contributors to local organizations, schools, and churches. We are independent business men and women and a very important part of Main Street America. The terminations are 100% UN-AMERICAN in our free society and a direct violation/attach on the American dream.

It is a shame what is being allowed to happen to all of these business men and women who have faithfully represented Chrysler and GM for years, not to mention the thousands of loyal employees and communities that will suffer for really no reason. What does it cost a manufacturer for a dealership to be in existance?? NOTHING!!! All cost and expenses are bourne by the dealer. If this is allowed to happen to these dealers it will be a disgrace and a travisty.

It is very very sad to see this happening to these dealerships. I personally worked for the local Dodge, Chrysler, Chevrolet Dealership that hung in there when Chrysler products sucked and Chrysler Made them remodel thier store..Where's the Union at now....Or the Governor....They can build all the cars that they want but if they dont have someone to represent thier company they are no-one.....By doing this thier business will fail.....
