Chrysler you should be ashamed of how you have done this !! The dealers did not desirve this kind of treatmentMay 19th, 2009Someone from Bend, OR writes:
it seems chysler is wacking the older dealers that have been with them through bad times before and were poised to help them through these times. I just dont understand how they could do this grave injustace by keeping dealers we have out performed for over 30 years. My dealership was 70 years old my grand father started in 1937 I used to be proud to be a Dodge Chrysler dealer its like I lost a family member in a tragic accident!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I can't believe we live in the United States of America and Chrylser is allowed thru bankruptcy to just come in and completely put thousands of people out of jobs. They aren't even offering to buy back the inventory that the dealers have and are only giving them to June 9th to get rid of it. What a farce!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I Don't care which party you voted for....this idea is just dead wrong...Why not let the dealers negociate among themselves if Chrysler decides a franchise needs to be terminated!REPORT COMMENTS

I feel that the Dealers have had the single Franchise before Chrysler bought out AMC should be able to keep it. They have worked all there lives to make Chrysler money and then they just dump them. NOT FAIR AT ALL I WILL NEVER OWN A CHRYSLER PRODUCT IF THIS IS WHATE THEY ARE LIKE.REPORT COMMENTS

In our small city of Missoula, Montana, the locally owned Jeep dealer, Flanagan's, is a well-run, family owned, succesful, community-involved business. Their Jeep franchise will be handed to the local Chrysler dealer who is part of a large corporation. This large corporation will not take care of Jeep buyers nearly as well as Flanagan's has for several years. I can't believe something like this can happen in America! It's a disgrace. The Flanagan family are good, honest business people. They are being robbed by corporate America.REPORT COMMENTS
