I have been a loyal Jeep owner (4 so far). I have been working with the same dealership (Tarbox Motors, NK, Rhode Island)for years. I am quite upset that they have been put on the "Hit List". They have always been fair and honest in their dealings with me. My understanding is they are also a top perfomer in the Chrysler organization. I am no interested in going to a jeep dealership. Looks like next time I need to purchase a vehicle it will have to be a TOYOTA.REPORT COMMENTS

Bankruptcy should NOT void Chrysler's obligation to the dealerships that have successfully sold and serviced their products for generations. The secrecy behind the selection process smacks of an inside job reminiscent of the previous administration. These dealerships and their employees deserve to have the protection of the American government, and are no less significant than the banking industry, leveraged homeowners and other national concerns.REPORT COMMENTS

This kind of thinking is destroying families across the country. The Chrysler fiasco is one of many testaments that Washington's decision makers either have no idea what they are really doing to our economy, or they don't care.REPORT COMMENTS

ALLOWING CHRYSLER TO SHUT OFF DEALERSHIPS WILL CREATE A SNOW BALL EFFECT TO THE ALREADY DAMAGED ECONOMY. BAILING OUT THE MANUFACTURERS THEN ALLOWING THEM TO CRIPPLE THE ECONOMY BY CUTTING JOBS AT THE DEALERSHIPS MAKES ABSOLUTLY NO SENSE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONTROL THEIR FINANCES, START BY SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THEM WHO THEY ARE IN THE FIRST PLACE, THE WORKERS.REPORT COMMENTS
