Our Government must wake up and realize that the consequences of allowing this happen are monumental. Good people's lives are being ripped apart and it does not have to happen.

I have been a loyal Customer of Tarbox Jeep in North Kingstown, RI for a long time and I have been a very loyal Jeep customer since 1988. I have owned 7 jeep in a row since 1988. I would hate to purchase a car from a foreign auto maker because of what our government is doing to the industry.

I dont agree with what Chrysler has done. And just because your bigger doesnt mean that the dealership is better. I go to a small family run Dealership;that has been in business for over 45 years. It is terrible that Chrysler forgot that these dealerships work hard and the represent America not these huge places.

I think it is terrible what Chrysler has done, I think they forgot that it was all these small dealerships that make the Car Company what it was. They just got way to greedy and forgot what the customers really want. It is a shame.

I dont know the true reason and motives for the proposed action against Chrysler but I dont think it is good enough to justify the consequences. If and when Chrysler shuts down the proposed dealerships there will be more people to add on to the statistics of unemployment. The economy will be dug down deeper into its grave. Is this justifiable, acceptable?

This Dealer Terminating Plan would only be effective for "non-producing" dealerships. Eliminating dealerships that have an outstanding rapport with the customers is NOT a way to reform the Chrysler Industry. Customers who previously had purchased a vehicle and continued to have it serviced at that dealership are the ones that need to be operating with business as usual! This idea is worth a second look. A full re-evalution of the proposed Dealership Termination act. it is the customers who make the difference. We as cumsumers will look for the biggest bang for our dollar. It is the C.E.O.'s with their bonuses, hourly workers on the assembly line making $55.00+ an hour, and the unions, who NEED the automotive re-evaluation for the high cost of a vehicle. Cunsumers have just about had it with this high cost of American made vehicles. I personally would always buy an American made vehicle. As Chrysler/Jeep is the best on today's market.

Termination of dealerships doesn't appear to have any rhyme or reason to it. Termination of the franchise of the top Jeep dealer in the Northeast, for example.
