How would the government like it the people were to get together and plan run out a 50 years of service politician. Even if that politician met with all the 5 star rating system. Hmmm Now lets see if it were 800 politicians. Many of them would not fight due to some over exposure. But the good ones would be pissed having to go home and tell there families about all the years of service and now for a unknown reason the people just want to vote you out hmmm Well, this may seem like a rant, but maybe congress needs to taste the soup that Chrysler is feeding these dealerships. They just should let the strong survive, 50 year old businesses don't just fold

People who have owned a dealership and have been operating it through generations are being told the company is being given to another so they will be closed down through no fault of their own. How can you go along with this madness? This is your idea of change?

Bob Frederick is hands down the best car dealer I have ever heard of as far as being fair and heling the customer. You dont even know how many loyal customers you have lost because of this shutdown. I could care less about the other dealerships, theyre all the same crap you find at any of em. Frederick was different. I, myself and my family will never, ever buy dodge jeep or chysler again, and will be trying to sell our current cars that belong to that name. Which is a real shame too, because I was currently in the market for a dodge challenger srt8 to replace the dream car that I had already and got in an accident with. Yes, I had a black 2009 srt8 challenger, and totaled it with 1600 miles on it due to aweful road conditions. I couldnt wait to sit back in that car again this fall when I climbed into my (then hopefull) brand new plum crazy challenger. That dream has come and gone, and I will now be looking into something classic. Thank you, for once again ruining a dream of mine. If frederick happens to reopen, I will thin reconsider the purchase of a new dodge vehicle. Until then, goodbye and I've lost all hope. Shame on you guys for taking out some of the better dealerships in your network. Was it a lottery or something? Or did you just choose to leave the scum around.

STUPID is the only way you can describe what has happened, correct the stupidity of the company executives that caused the very mess that put them in peril, the dealers did not cause this! RESTORE their RIGHTS/CONTRACTS!

What a damn shame that in America this can happen. Destroy all the Mom and Pop and small dealerships that neighbors have grown to love and trust with their vehicles. I am very upset that Verona Jeep is is on this list. As long as i can remember it was so exciting to drive by and see the new Jeeps displayed in the lot. Then, stop take test rides and lease/buy the vehicle. The family at Verona Jeep made you feel like part of the family as well. Now, if I decide to, I will have to drive out of my way to see new models and with the way gas prices are going up again that may never happpen. Shame on the corporate world destroying those who built you up!!!

What has happened to the American way of doing business? Is it gone no not yet but by letting the large corporations bully dealerships and hide behind an army of legal counsel and hide behind bankruptcy is not the way that this great country was built. In order for our system to work and move forward the stong will survive and weak will go by the wayside. Before the filings Chrysler was losing on average of 40 dealerships a month which would be at least half of those that were put on the list. Many dealers placed on the list have performed above the numbers used by Chrysler and those companies paid many dollars for the right to sell and service the product how many offered all 3 brands under one roof and spent millions of dollars for the upgraded facilities, not to name all of the people they employed. This should have been allowed to run it due course instead of making these heavy handed changes and then rewarding the below average survivors that I wouldn't even let them put air in my tires. With all of talk from Washington about creating jobs how does eliminating 63,000 plus all of the smaller business that these employees used to support and patronize, let alone the countless parts suppliers that performed services for the dealerships. All said this was a huge mistake and the people will have the final say come next election unless that to is going to be taken away. In regards to the Bob Frederick CJD this family owned business has done everything the right way for many years and this is the Thank you for loyalty ... It Stinks and It Is Immoral and Un-American Save the Bob Fredericks of this country and let them continue to give to their communities as that is what makes this a great country, giving us the fredom of choice.

Please do not close the dealers that are the better ones serving the customers needs! Many of us will be loosing jobs and companies. This is NOT LEGAL! The dealer is the one paying for the store NOT the Chrysler corp or the government! Please Save Bob Fredricks! He is #1 in Dod Challenger and Internet sales! We need him for his knowledge and expertise! He has helped 10000s buy US made cars!

So the car czar people go judge shopping and find a willing candidate in New York. Nice. Then this guy pulls the rug out from underneath 700+ dealerships. Nice. Then you have the people in Auburn Hills going along with it. Nice. Then you have the Chrysler dealership council of 17 that keep their business. Nice. You guys are nothing but trash. All of you.

I can?t believe that Chrysler wants to close down Fredericks. Bob Frederick is the ONLY dealer that I have spoken to in my pursuit of purchasing a Challenger that was both honest and fair. I was just working out a deal with him when this mess happened. In fact, if not for Bob, I would probably have already changed my mind to another car given all the frustration that I have had to deal with. Numbers are one way to make these decisions but reputation is going to mean a lot more coming out of Bankruptcy. If consumers don?t have confidence in the brand anymore and the only dealers left are sheisters, then you are going to still have a dog on your hand. Bean counters got you into this mess, don?t let them keep digging the hole. If you actually go through and cut out a dealer like Fredericks from the list, then, as a company, you have just shown the world how you are making decisions as the ?new Chrysler?. And if that?s the direction, I don?t want any part of it.

If Chrysler had done this fairly I could (almost) go along with it. However it's such an obvious frame-up, with so many great dealers like Fredericks getting shut down that the whole thing should just be stopped in its tracks.

What was done can be undone. Our Senators and Congressmen need to investigate the flawed process that was used to terminate Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealers. They need to put a process in place to re-establish the high performing, high volume dealers.

I thought this was the USA. What Chrysler with the help of the American goverment did not only to these dealers but also the thousands of people who worked for them was flat out wrong, and should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to happen.
