Why is it that practically all the dealerships being closed supported a republican ticket?Jun 11th, 2009Someone from Youngstown, OH writes:
Why take a good dealer out of a very busy area like Boardman, but leave both Columbiana AND Salem dealerships open?REPORT COMMENTS

"all we like sheep"! Are we so busy bleating like sheep that we are forgetting to roar like lions for our rights, and our free enterprise? Free of government intervention, at least! Let the businesses monitor themselves, and bail themselves out. Necessity is the mother of invention and creativity. We have people just like Rogers Dodge who can take care of their own situations, and create more jobs and still be profitable, without G Men coming in and telling them what they can and can't do!REPORT COMMENTS

You know what this reminds me of? "Saudi-zation" This is a term I encountered in Saudi Arabia while on a one-month consulting gig there in 2001 immediately before 9/11. I returned just in time to see, in person, the terrorist attack on the Pentagon. "Saudi-zation" is the process by which the Saudi government selects highly successful, high profitable businesses owned and run by foreigners and turns these businesses "lock-stock-and-barrel" over to a Saudi "businessman" of their choice. While I was there a lot of gold jewelry businesses owned and run by Pakistanis were the current target of "Saudi-zation". Like I said before, this looks like Obama's "Muslim Death-to-Infidels" approach to political conversion to me.REPORT COMMENTS

It is sad that all the small family owned dealerships are closing. I feel bad for all the workers and their families. Perhaps Fiat will pick them up. Small cars, small dealerships. One can only hope and prayREPORT COMMENTS

Shame on you! Your actions will be feeding the supply and demand theory and will result in higher prices and job losses. Stay in the goverment business. I did not vote for you to run the Auto Industry.REPORT COMMENTS

This is just unamerican and just totally unfair and absolutely wrong. All businesses in this country are at risk if this administation allows this to happen. The Obama adminstration can not surely recognize the number of jobs this will lose let alone the ramifications on the communities and their economy.REPORT COMMENTS

How can you close one one the most knowledable dealers and the #1 dod ge challenger sales dealer i nthe USA! Bob is more of an authourity than any other dealer, has helped 1000s make sales and decisions even when they purchased their cars from other stores, he has run many of the spots on Redletterdodge.com and knows more about the product than any other dealer ever met! Please do not close this store. It makes no sense at all!REPORT COMMENTS
