I don't understand how closing dealerships (especially good ones just because they are small) will help Chrysler's bottom line. Chrysler is the manufactuer and sets the price that the dealers have to pay. The dealers are independent businesses that buy the vehicles from the manufactuer and sets the price they will sell to the consumer for. What am I missing?Jun 9th, 2009Someone from Cumberland, RI signed.

If this dealer closes, I will lose my purchase incentive offered exclusively from the dealer (not Chrysler) for free oil changes and discounted service.REPORT COMMENTS

I support this because a lot of these dealers are well run and don't deserve this.REPORT COMMENTS

I dont know how Chrysler can take dealerships that have been in business for so many years and close them and leaver dealers open that have not even been in business two years. Instead of the Factories looking at closing dealers they need to look inside the UAW and have the employees who build the cars take concessions. Don't blame the dealers for the Unions problems.REPORT COMMENTS
