Rogers Dodge of Alvin, TX is being screwed by Chrysler. They need to file an adversarial action in Bankruptcy court. If it can be proved that Chrysler is doing what Rogers say they are, it is Bankruptcy fraud and an honest Bankruptcy judge will see right through it and rule for Rogers...if the judge is honest.

By deciding a dealer is no longer needed, and using bankruptcy laws to shield the corporate franchiser to skirt the state franchise laws is akin to seizure of property. Many dealers will be financially ruined because the federeal government decided it was making rules that are more important that the state laws that already exist. States' rights, States' laws come first. Many customers are losing choice and are being made to deal with dealers they have chosen not to deal with. Just remember, Jim Press did not make Toyota, Toyota made Jim Press. Their idea of optimum dealer count is just one opinion. I look the Chrysler business model of the mid 1990's and see all the dealers that ever were signed on with Chrysler, all the employees that worked for a good corporation, and I see the large pile of cash that was raided by Daimler Benz with the aid of Bob Eaton. The promise from Germany was much greater than they were willing to deliver and they slipped away trying to cover the tracks of their mismanagement.

I own a Jeep from one of the dealerships in the Pittsburgh, PA area that is scheduled to close. My dealership has been wonderful to deal with over the last 5 years and I don't want to buy another jeep from anyone else. I am devastated that I will lose them to service my car. Please keep these dealerships open. Allow those of us that choose to support America by buying American products continue to do so!

In 2008 we bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee with a lifetime warranty, paid $42,000.00 and now with Chrysler cutting all of our local dealerships, I am strongly thinking about trading it in. I cannot understand How they came to their decision, but it is a disgrace to America, Adopting the "Walmart of car dealers" and killing the mom & pop dealers who know & care about their customers is NOT America!!! If the Chrysler Executives will not waiver in their decisions, the Government should stand up for the Dealerships and force Chrysler to buy ALL of the Surplus Inventory of Parts and Vehicles back from the Dealerships. The Dealerships purchased vehicles in good faith to support the Chrysler Company, It is not their fault that the BIG WIGS mishandled the company and got it to where it is now. Stop the attack on the people that work to keep this Country the America that we love!

With unemployment as high as it is, and business closing every day, does it make sense to close all these Chrysler Corporation dealers that are making money and employing thousands of people when it the LARGE AUTO MAKERS that have made all the BAD business decisions? Please take into consideration all of the people and small businesses you will hurt if you shut down all the Dealers. The large auto manufacturers in this country caused the problems themselves, WHY help them? Let them bail themselves out!! Please do not blame the small people for BIG Business mmistakes and them make them part of the payback to the government program. Thank you for listening to me rant. Bradford Bruce

Better yet, get the government out of Chrysler and let the market decide Chysler's future.

Our family is 4 generations old and 81 years as a Chrysler dealer. We outsold our sales objective last year-have high CSI & SSI scores, and took all of the emergency orders Press begged for. And what did that get us? NOTHING!

I feel it is so unjust the way the dealerships have been chosen to close their doors. Lochmoor Chrylser in Michigan is in the top 3% for sales in the US and yet it is being forced to close. Where is the justice?

At the very least give the Terminated Dealers an interest in the new Company's stock, that would be protected from Bankrupcy either personal or Business if the Dealer was forced to take such action.

Americans need to stop bailing out the fatcats, and start bailing out the little guys. Most of the jobs in this country are provided by smaller businesses, and when we kill small business, we kill labor and opportunities. It's time to start nurturing the small businesses in this country. Jonathan B.

This is worse than any land-grab by the government and is shameful that congress would permit this to happen. These dealers paid their franchise fee and for their vehicles and are now given limited opportunity to be re-imbursed for their output

its utter bs if you tell me, not only is our local dealership closing doors but also made one of our most trusted and remarkable land mark shutdown...is this the way they think it will help the ecomony by shutting businesses down and raising gas prices making it hard for anyone to even live??...

This is the beginning of the end of America as we know it. Wake up America before it's your life that gets ripped out from under you. These dealers and their employees who's lives are being ruined are our neighbors. They pay taxes in YOUR neighborhood, they shop at your stores.
