Better thing to do would be creating system which validates those resumes and supports genuine qualified people in Because this petition would be stupid as it filters even qualified spouses

Most of the people here complaining about faking resumes are not only lying but also trying to disagree with providing freedom to the needy people on h4 visa. If these people really have genuine knowledge, degrees and work experience, they should NOT worry about others

It is stupid and highly inconsiderate for someone in his or her right senses to support or request not passing the H4 EAD rule. The point made on no backround verification fro IT is not enough reason. We human beings are very selfish, you wish to be employed but wants someone else to remain idle at home because he/she is not authorized to work under H4. This kind of topic should not be raised because it signals wickedness, myopic views, inconsideration, evil, and as such should be rejected in its entirety. This nation is a nation of immigrants and everyone should be given a fair share you dumb ass. Stupid fools. Thank God Obama passed the rule without listening to your sick minds.

It is a big disadvantage for students spending thousands of dollars as university fees and competing with fake resumes. Rather the Govt should look into increasing the H1 quota for Masters students.

Everything should be hard earned, i have seen Master's student working 24/7 when there were in schools, not all masters students put that effort but at the same time those who don't put effort were never landed where they want. Passing this bill will disregard the hard work many masters students are putting. Am against this bill.

Anyone with the right skill-set should be able to work. Skill should be the only criteria and not really nationality or how much you paid as University Fees. This is the only way for any nation to transform.

GOP is stupid. Its rather doing damage for american people. Latinos are doing labour jobs like landscaping, cleaning etc which Americans do those jobs??? They're going to give Work permits to Spouses of Guys on H1. Who, BTW, already making 100K as salaries on the jobs. And now their spouse will also make 100K. It'll just double the number of people available in mkt AND THESE JOBS ARE THE ONES THAT AMERICANS DO. Any Guesses, with whom getting the work permit Americans will lose more jobs??? Latinos or Guys on H1?? Think and act WISELY! >> STOP this new rule which is making spouses on H4 eligible to work.

H4 EAD will take away jobs from those students who spent a lot of money to do masters here and it would employ uneligibile H4 dependents.

I would fully support H4 spouses get EAD, this is best way US government will benifit with additional tax money, Any way employers will not recruite any person who does not fit in their roles...hence forth - it is best policy in recent years..

I totally disagree with this petition. It's the much awaited rule which took years to provide spouses of H1 to work. It was unfair when spouses of J1 and L1 are allowed to work than why not H1? Firstly, no company would hire anybody with fake CV . Secondly, there will be no job insecurity because there is a very small ratio of spouses that belongs to the IT world. There are spouses from all fields and have worked really hard to make this rule passed and waited for years. Please Don't accept this petition.

Most of the h4 visa holders are not from the it or tech field. They may or may not qualify to compete for tech industry. Being trapped at home is not a good feeling and no one should have to do that.

It's not a good idea to grant EAD for H4 visa holders. This will surely have a negative impact on H1 visa holders. Especially in IT industry the job market is volatile and billing rates would fall drastically because of H4 entry. So I would request USCIS to drop off this plan.

There are talented h1 candidates who have been to school is and waiting for more than 6 years to get some flexibility in job opportunities. There is no need to victimize them and give h4 visa holders Ead

This is going to give a lot of Indian IT Vendors to market fake resumes with less billing rates. This will be a problem, when an experienced person, will not given an interview slot due to billing rate (even if someone ignores this, this is a 100% true FACT with all companies, to cut cost). Dont Pass H4 EAD.

I totally agree, the IT staffing companies will be misusing this. There will be a heavy competition between people having real time experience and people who has no experience H4 EAD candidates with no STEM Degree will work for less rate and the IT staffing companies will exploit them Please add some strigent laws for H4 EADS

PLEASE DON'T PASS THIS RULE !! Being an Indian myself I might hurt my fellow Indian's sentiments and other immigrants feelings. But I would like to request USA government that please don't pass this rule. I would like to highlight important points here: 1) People who already mentioned about creating fake degree's and experience to get a tech job is 100% true. If government pass the rule everybody would become "software engineer" where some would be qualified for sure but in most cases they won't have even basic knowledge of how "something" works!! 2) We understand the feelings of "spouses" who are stuck with H4 status but how can we assure the "International" students that they shouldn't be worry!!! H4 status knew from beginning that they won't be able to work here by "law" but "international" students made their decisions to come to study , they spent a lot of money and worked hard (you can't even imagine the pressure they have while studying). so jobs for H4 or jobs for F1 ?? 3) Okay! not everyone is from tech background so what about them (teaching, marketing(don't even think), management, business etc. etc., work culture in India and USA is completely different , here you are responsible for your duties, it's not kind of jobs where you come , sign, bi$^*h about in-laws and then leave. Well, I am not saying that working in USA is rocket science but to work you need to understand the work culture, need to grow your personality, know your responsibilities etc. ( again I am not saying that work in India is "lollypop" but anyways..) 3) Not judging everybody based on given examples here (but we know it's true in most cases): a) I interviewed a lady and was impressed by her resume, had worked all over in world , had good number of experience and what not...I was shocked when I met her in person, zero communication skills, no knowledge of anything she mentioned in her resume but with full attitude !! b) Another test engineer with 5+ year work experience and good Indian academic history but didn't even know basics of her job that she must have done when started her career..but again with full attitude !! c) d) e) f)....can write many examples here. 4) Sadly! If the government allows the work permit then please make sure to make some rules of having at least a minimum 1 year of educational experience from any US institutes or something like that. I was on H4 status and understand the pain of sitting in a quiet house doing nothing and blah blah...I went to college here (on H4) and then I realized how tough is life here for locals, how it's not easy to stay on F1 visa and so on, how different are our educational systems ....how tough is to get a job after college, how tough is to clear an interview, how painful it is for a F1 student to pay loan without getting a full-time job, or worst to go back to their own country after all the hard work done here!! H4 EAD will be the worst decision made by the government !!!

I support this petition. Let the truth prevail and genuine candidates trying for job should not be affected by this H4 EAD. Same thing happened in the case of Green card (just sit at home for 6-8 years and all of a sudden, after getting the Green Card I don't understand what struck them from where???? ..... make use of the fake consultants/fake work experience and screw up the job market and genuine applicants). Are those putting in years of efforts ..... are they fools?? Govt. has to wake up!
