All we hear from these people is complains, they are taking Americans jobs, selling themselves low, just thinking about themselves, without any consideration of American’s or America. They came into this country as they are not capable of securing jobs in their home countries. Now they slowly started demanding ... give everything to my kid, give job to my wife, I should have all the rights. They are suckers, don’t give anything in return. Amazing, they will complain, we are taxpayers. You make money , you pay taxes, simple what special about it. You are sending your kids to school, which is run on Citizens taxpayers money. Property taxes are shooting up, as more and more of these kids are coming, and we have to pay for their schooling. Businesses lobbied the administration to have in-flux of these cheap labors. There are hardly 5-6% highly skilled, rest all are who are not capable of finding jobs in their native countries. Stop this whole B...S.... of highly skilled and skill shortage. No one is separating the families, they all knew when they came here. Stay with your kids, no one is asking you to stay here. They are suckers, doesn’t show any sign of highly skilled. They are highly skilled in playing these cards “female spouses, barred in jails”, “families are separated save H4”, “ slavery for H1”. H4 EAD should be rescind .I was working for a outsourcing company (CTS) as a contractor once and they lay me off bcoz they wanted to keep their full time employee on H1B and second time when I was applying for a job in Austin TX , HR of a firm told me I was asking higher salary as they can get a QA person on H4 EAD (fake experience) in less . All this spouses on H4 EAD are just siting at home doing nothing they are crying foul . I am sure their husbands are earning more than 100k and obama gave them work permit .So US citizen hardly make 50-60k on average and this people from outside get 100k+spouse 50k . The term "highly skilled talented" is just a term to give away all US jobs to outsiders . Most of this H1B are Indian student who came to US for studies and then got this jobs on fake resumes , this students are not highly talented there are just unemployable youth who cannot get job in India . H4 EAD is unconstitutional and illegal. For H1B there is a vetting process and 90 days of advertisement period to ensure American citizen participation. Whereas for H4 work visa nothing. H1B visa itself is a non-immigrant visa and the comments here in the post, where they want their spouse to work, to buy house and have kids, is rediculous. The best way to stop this nonsense is to send an email to your local Congress man or woman asking whether they support the notion to revoke the H4 EAD or not. If they don’t support this notion make sure you vote against them in the coming mid-term elections. Most of these H4 holders are working for corrupt Indian IT companies (like Wipro, Infosys and TCS) who are exploiting American citizen’s jobs and life. Every time I here from these visa beneficiaries how H4 visas and H1B is helping American economy, I have a question why don’t you go back help your own country’s economy. I am on a H1B and my wife is on a H4 and she is not eligible for EAD yet. it worries me that this option is being taken away because now I can't think of having kids or buying a house here since it is impossible to do so on a single person income. That being said, i also agree that there should be stringent checks for issuing H4 EAD. There definitely is misuse and irritates me all the more to see certain people who cheat through interviews to land a position they don't clearly don't deserve based on ignorance of a few and con jobs of many others. I agree that there should be stringent checks and requirements for STEM degrees to issue H4 EAD. Revise the policy, don't revoke it.REPORT COMMENTS

One of the most absued program. People lie and use their cultural influance to get their spouses at the same work place or at their buddies place. So, here how this works. They scratch eachother back. I have seen jobs taken by these H1B and H4 can be easly replaced by our fresh college graduates or with few years of experience. These people are utter lier as well. They fabricate resumes, fake interviews and provide support over the phone. Also, they bribe hiring manager (of course he or she is one of their own) to get them hired and pay under the table. Once, they are hired, goal is to get few certifications at the company's cost to hide their real world experience. i urge our president and congress to stop this UTTER NONSENSE PROGRAM. H4 EAD should not be granted for someone who wishes to perform technical job in IT industry. There is no fairness if both H4 EAD as well H1B both are working as a developer or QA. STEM degree must be obtained for technical jobs in IT that require them. Fake resumes are created not only for H4 EAD but also for H1B. There should be more strict background checks for verifying each document including birth certificate, degree certificate before granting H1B visa. I would request not to revoke H1b visa. I am working in school district and I have 5 years of experience. I got this job through long process of merit based interviews. From the day I started my work I got many appreciations from all my colleagues and supervisors and working very hard applying my knowledge to serve teachers and students in school district who are very happy with my performance. USA had been a great country in inviting the best and brightest to stay in the country and work here. H1-B is one of the program that gives chance to such bright people to work temporarily and later if they would like to stay, can apply for the green card. There are certain rules that bars such people to get their green card and they have to wait in the line for years. Please note at the same time, people from most of other countries can get their green card almost immediately as they apply, and they start living life in full with work authorization. It does not matter where they are coming from- whether it is one of the education deprived or food deprived country. America gives them a fair chance. H4-EAD rule is the only rules that provides work authorization to the family of the H1 workers who are waiting for their green card for years. Please note at the same time, there are other temporary visa program (e.g. L1) which had that option provided for their dependent for getting work authorization. So why not to H1 dependent. America is known for providing equal opportunity. When the rule for H4EAD passed, it just gave few of those long waiting H4 depended a chance to work and come out of long wait. Why it is good: 1. Work authorization to H4 had already had been proven to create new startups and so create new jobs. 2. When H1 dependents have chance to work, they are investing more in getting higher education and training in united states, and so, helping Universities job. 3. America is known for its equality, faith and believer in God. It gives fare chance to all living, including human being. So why to make these H4 dependent feel like they are in a cage and cannot work. 4. It was too depressing for the H1 dependent to just stay at home and do nothing while their spouses are working to help America’s development. Why depressing- because they did not have the work authorization but at the same time they were capable of doing that. 5. It also gives H1 employee (who are really bright studious people and helping America to achieve development and new innovations) a peace of mind that their dependent can work if they want to, and not get depressed because of the stringent laws for H1. So, they tend to work more efficiently and for the entire period they are allowed to work for and do not leave the country and look for other developed country to work for. 6. H1 and H1 dependents are legal immigrants. When the country is debating about controlling illegal immigrants, why not to encourage people coming from legal route. 7. It was approved recently. So people just want to oppose it. Please note blindly opposing a cause they go against God’s will. Please note lot of other similar visa’s dependent like L1 already had it. 8. It increases competition so a company or the country will get better employee. People who are not qualified enough, are afraid that a H4 EAD person may get that job which they want to get without studying hard and having that special knowledge through long experience. In most of cases, bright people marry bright people so in most of cases, dependent of H1 are mostly bright people (e.g. some of them are doctors, surgeons, scientist, engineers etc). Please note if they are not qualified for a position they will not get selected for the job. 9. What is the harm if they want to work here, pay taxes and help the economy? Unfortunately H1 immigrants do not have resources and political support. Please note- H1B dependents are actually Americans in waiting and would have got their green cards.REPORT COMMENTS

Even after DHS rejected some misused H1B visas, Managers on H1B are recommending outsourcing vendors in India to hire this same people and have them work from India.. They then apply for H1B transfer again and come back to US... I support H4 EAD program. Most of the H4 EADs are woman wants to work to have their dignity and identity at place where they are respected. H4 EADs I came across are well qualified for the positions. I agree and understand the mindset of "every grapes that we didn't get will become soar" but blaming all the EAD to be fake resume is not right. We feel we work in country who really respect the truth and talent. EADs applicants can have more background checks and can be permitted to work.
